As a Board member, you will be part of a tight-knit group of forward thinkers, collaborators, and passionate individuals working to:

  • Influence and advocate for culture and systems that improve patient-care delivery
  • Improve member satisfaction and well-being
  • Support sustainability

Board members help guide the Division’s direction through governance, leadership, and representation of member interests.

The Board supports the Division’s work by focusing on these pillars:

  • Amplify the family physician and nurse practitioner voice as leaders
  • Support member well-being
  • Optimize care delivery and practice-based supports
  • Ensure organizational sustainability and effective program delivery

Our beliefs that we refuse to compromise:

  • In-person Board meetings take place every 6 weeks (2 hours)
  • Members are expected to come prepared for discussion and input
  • 1 hour of paid preparation time is included
  • Participation in local, regional, and provincial partner meetings as a Division representative is expected
